I’ve been a business marketing video producer for a long time (over 30 years), and it may surprise you that I chose this career in video even though I am camera shy!
I chose producing videos for other people on purpose! I do not want to be in front of the camera.
That’s right, I’m a video producer who does NOT want to be on camera.
Except, now we all need to be on camera.
Whether it’s to introduce ourselves or our businesses to our audiences, video is the place to be.
After helping many of the professionals I interviewed feel comfortable on camera, I figured it was time to practice what I preach.
After years of avoiding it at all costs, I have learned to show up on video.
I hear (all the time) I know I should be doing more video but…
As someone who creates videos for others, I don’t always have the time to do it for myself, but I know the value and see the engagement that video brings.
At Mighty Simple, I’m not going to shift your mindset or tell you not to worry about what people think (although you shouldn’t).
Ralph Waldo Emerson said, ‘Do the thing you fear’.
Whether it’s skydiving or video production, I think we have to face our fears head-on.
It’s not always easy, but it’s incredibly rewarding when you return to your comfort zone after taking the leap.

I’ll help you practice making videos and provide you with video-making resources so that you get comfortable with the process. (By the way, the terms ‘making videos‘ and ‘creating videos‘ are often used interchangeably and are also referred to as ‘video production.’)
The Mighty Simple On Camera program is one of the programs available for learning how to create videos. It is designed to guide you in setting up your studio so that you practice getting comfortable on camera. During the program, I will hold you accountable to do the work so that you see the change in your on-camera presence and start to enjoy the process.

How did I get started in video production?
In January 2007, I started my company, WeBo Media and Consulting. My goal was to help businesses and nonprofits create videos that stand out. I knew that following my process, I could tell their stories in an authentic way.
I’ve worked in a multitude of locations, from the executive boardroom to the Daytona Speedway, and on a multitude of projects ranging from live events to independent short films, from broadcast commercials to corporate brand videos, and everything in between.
